Kelly`s Roast Beef in Medford

The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. Lg roast beef sandwich, medium onion rings and coleslaw with a large drink. A bit pricy though. But for a once in a great while treat, well worth it, even if only via the drive through due to the virus situation.

Bob was the best. we are from out of town and he made us feel comfortable. we had a nice conversation and he also helped us decide on what to get however got everything I wanted, roast beef, clam roll, crab cake. food was GREAT! will definitely return the next time we are up in Everett Ma.

First of all, they didn’t give us all of our order. Second, we realized we are missing the mac and cheese for kids and we don’t want to drive back and pick it up. So, we ask for a credit of $8.20 but instead my card was charged with another $116.95. I called back around 5:24 PM and it was the other manager. She ask me if I know the manager’s name, it is unfortunate I did not get his name but that’s not the issue here. And then she said, the other manager left for the day so there’s nothing I can do. Oh he left? So what’s his name? She said it’s Bob... duh, you answered your own question. Why not ask me about the receipt number? I don’t believe that she can’t do anything, she’s just annoyed and lazy. I don’t want to give any star at all but it won’t let me post this without giving one...... I WANT MY $116.36 BACK PLUS THE $8.20 MAC AND CHEESE MEAL.

Roast beef was awful, will never go back. Fatty and grissely.

The clam chowder is so good. Haven't had anything we didn't like. Quick drive through service and they have never gotten our order wrong. They inclyde utensils and napkins all the time without asking. Almosr every time we're in the area we stop to get something to eat.

My daughter took me here for Mother’s Day yesterday my request ... the line was long but it swiftly moved... I had the fish plate that I’ve been enjoying since I was a kid on Revere Beach... EXCELLENT!!! It was perfect!!! Thank you Kelly’s !!

They should just call Call an Arby's. I know they came first but Arby's is doing a better job at stealing their the restaurant. It's not good and I had such high hopes of this Boston favorite. My roast beef was cold unflavored. The fish sandwich was dripping with water it was just not what I expected. There are other roast beef sandwiches in Boston that are worth a visit this is not one of them.

Very bad food uncooked. Dont try to go there. I go you will dont test your eating fish or seafood. They put the trash the seafood there. I make zoom on plate.😡

I asked for a salad with CRISPY chicken it the chicken wasn’t crispy 🤦‍♀️

Delicious clam chowder with lots of clams in it and a milky thinner type broth. A bit pricey but it's a seafood restaurant in New England with quality fish, clams, and scallops. A few tables out front with great views of logan airportand encore casino( here during COVID it is July 16th and the dining room IS open to eat inside as well )

Good quick stop on the way home from work on a Friday to pick up a lobster roll and it was delicious

This place is worth a visit. They have big portions for reasonable rates. Regularly clean and with fantastic ambience. Highly recommended.

I've had the roast beef sandwich and lobster roll, which were great. The fries/onion rings and fish batter have NO flavor or seasoning. Onion rings were under a little cooked. Putting salt and pepper and tarter sauce didnt really help. Their service and drive through were smooth.

Decent roast beef, nothing to go crazy over. Lobster roll was decent sized, although not much flavor. The best part was the roll! Surprising the soda was well carbonated and not flat at all. A tad overpriced in my opinion.Until next time Boston.

I came up from Florida to visit been going to Kelly's for over 25years and today was officially my last visit to Kelly's roast beef.I went to Medford location and the portions have really reduced almost by half hardly any roast beef and Kelly's alway has always had great portions you always left full and happy with the quality of the product and price what I got was a out 5 slices of roast beef 5 chunks of lobster and 4 small onion rings and 7 fries this was called surf and turf do 18.00 not worth 8.00 for what I got i said something to manager who was rude about it like I said a 25 plus year customer lost great job Kelly's roast beef for pricing yourself out of a customer

Kelly's is my favorite in Medford. I love their Fish and Chips. I've been living here for 5 years and Kelly's was the first place that the food impress me in USA. They have fresh and flavorful dishes. Their Cheeseburger also it's amazing. Kelly's is outstanding!

I love this place the food was good the service was great especially the roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce it was great my daughter just loves Kelly's we plan on to keep going there

I got the surf and turf here, which I actually thought was a really good deal. I ordered my roast beef sandwich "3 ways" which was BBQ sauce, mayo, and cheese. I was skeptical at first, but the girl taking more order suggested it and said it was very popular. It also came with a lobster roll and fries. Overall I thought it was very good. I would like to try just a plain sandwich next time, but the lobster roll was good and the bun was toasted and buttery.

A fabulous treat if budget allows you to go there. Employees great. Food great. The cost is fair to the quality and quantity of food you get there. I believe they serve seafood platter, but you have to ask for it. Never once heard anyone say a bad comment. Just positive comments over the many many years with Kelly’s.** 10 minute walk from Wilmington T station on the Orange line. I love clams and trust Kelly’s that the seafood is always safe to eat..

The food didn't live up to the hype around Kelly's, my roast beef sandwich and onion rings were very bland. Not sure if I'll give this place a second try.

Calamari was terrible! Overcooked and hard. the lobster roll was good and the roast beef sandwiches are ok. Their hotdogs and onion rings are not bad either. A little pricey but decent. Nothing amazing but not bad.

The roast beef sandwich is second to none.. a great filling sandwich with just enough fries. Bunnies in parking lot.

Food is good but chowder is too soupy..

You can only use the drive thru at this time and there's a long line but it moves fairly quickly

Best lobster roll around!

I have visited this location many times within the last 10 years. It has a simple fried seafood and roast beef menu. The roast beef is good. However, this location has gone downhill over the time. The fried seafood and fries are soggy and seems to have lost its flavor. The staff is mediocre at best. It is like a mid-range fast food restaurant, mostly. Lost most of the local charm.

First time going. Food was good for "fast-good-esqe" type dining.

The roast beef is carved so thin and is perfect on the toasted roll. BBQ sauce has a nice kick to it. It's way better than Arby's. I wonder if they're thinking of franchising as this location is well produced and the food is just as good as the original location at the beach. Happy workers that serve to the tables as well as a drive through. "Gimme a clam roll with fries and rings please!"

Not for the roast beef...This is the ONLY place I will order a lobster roll! Perfect light amount of mayo (?) to just kiss the lobster and not have it swimming in mayo on a soggy roll. Roll buttery and grilled to perfection! Onion rings? The only ones I will eat and the clam chowder is as rich and delicious with butter pools floating on the top. Kelly's is a New England staple for a reason!!! Keep it up!

Food was okay. Crab cakes are mushy and the onion rings coating needs some work. The mac and cheese and shrimp were enjoyed by my kid The roast beef sandwich is still good though!

Always been an excellent way since I worked in Medford and lived in Revere always love to Kelly's bacon cheese fries

Great food awesome portions and a go to for all the goods they have to offer. I hate roastbeef but I always take a bit from my wife's order extra cheese extra sauce! I'm a burger guy myself and this place does a good job, fish and chips is always my go to here.

So. Damn. DANK. Literally the best clams and roast beef. I love it here, I am in love.

Well I went with my brother to Kelly’s today he got a fish plate I got a lobster roll and we got a small clam the fish plate the fish was Inedible the batter it was so thick it was hard as a rock there were hardly any fries 5 onion rings the clams were like rubber bands could not chew them I didn’t wanna make a scene I just left but I will not go back. What happened to the old Kelley’s it was always good. I have to say the lobster roll was good but then again how do you screw up a lobster roll.

The food here is always good for the type of restaurant that it is. The tables could be kept cleaner than they actually are. The service is usually prompt and friendly. I enjoy the buffalo chicken sandwich and the roast beef sandwich is of course good. I always go with the rings over the fries too.

Like many others have said, I've watched Kelly's food go down in quality and quantity while their prices remain quite a bit higher than your average pizza/sub joint. Almost what, 14$ for a roast beef basket with less than a handful of onion rings and fries....roast beef was cold and bland last few times I've been here and employees are too busy paying attention to each other. Save yourself the disappointment and randomly pick one of the handful of places you can get a roast beef at before you get to Kelly's - itll be cheaper and definitely wont be worse
